What am I going to have to do in Mutant X-Perience?
We can not reveal too much information, since we want to keep the mystery until you come to play. In this way the X-Perience will be much more exciting and fun.
What we can tell you is that once in our premises the whole group will have to move, observe, pay attention, talk, think … you will find some elements that maybe relate to movies, TV shows or superhero comic-books. These tributes are a nod to a genre that we love and respect and that we want you to enjoy with us.
Can people who suffer from claustrophobia participate? What happens if I get overwhelmed at some point?
There isn’t really any small space in the rooms but in any case your activity is being carefully monitored at all times by the Mutant Control Agency agents and if you request it at any time you can leave.
Your games are very difficult, what happens if we do not make progress?
We at Action Room Escape try to make every X-Perience an exciting challenge.
Not all groups will be able to escape on time … or solving all the challenges of the X-Perience. Escaping is only one part of it! This is one of the strengths of our X-Perience: it is an entertaining intellectual challenge that requires attention, communication, thinking and… making moral decisions.
If at any time the group gets stuck, you can receive clues from an ally. In this way we ensure the maximum dynamism of the X-Perience.
How long is the X-perience?
Mutant X-Perience has a total duration of 90 minutes counting the part in which the group is “processed” by the agents of the Mutant Control Agency. The amount of time that the group will spend within the facilities of the Agency will depend largely on their ability, but we will set aside a few minutes after the team leaves (… or not) to talk about your X-Perience and take a picture.
In what language can it be done?
Mutant X-Perience is available in Spanish and English.
Can people under 18 participate? Is it recommended for children?
Our X-Periencia is mainly designed for people over 18 years old and without a maximum age limit, since we are convinced that any adult will live an unforgettable experience.
Children and teenagers 10 to 17 years old will have to do the activity accompanied by at least one adult who is responsible for them.
We do not recommend the activity for children under 10 years. Mutant X-Perience has a certain load of tension and suspense and it is possible that at some point they felt uncomfortable. We also believe that some of our enigmas can be complex for their intellectual level. Anyway, the final choice is left in your hands.
THE ORGANIZATION OF YOUR TEAM
How many people can participate?
Mutant X-Perience has been designed for groups of 4 to 6 mutants.
In the near future we expect to make it available to groups of 3 mutants, although it will be a very challenging X-Perience.
Can we be more than six?
Unfortunately, the facilities of the Mutant Control Agency are not prepared to process groups of more than six mutants at a time.
If your group consists of more than six mutants, you will have to turn yourselves in in more than one session.
What powers will we have?
Depending on the number of mutants in your team, some or other powers are available.
4 mutants: telepathy, energy beams, magnetism, healing.
5 mutants: telepathy, energy beams, magnetism, healing, light control.
6 mutants: telepathy, energy beams, magnetism, healing, light control, energy control.
Each mutant has one of these powers. There can not be more than one mutant with the same powers in the team.
We advise you to decide who will have each of the powers by agreeing with each other before coming to our facilities.
Agents of the Mutant Control Agency are not famous for their patience.
How much does the activity cost?
The price of the X-Perience varies depending on the size of the group.
Our rates are the following:
4 mutants = € 88 (€ 22 / mutant)
5 mutants = € 100 (€ 20 / mutant)
6 mutants = € 114 (€ 19 / mutant)
Our rates are the same regardless of the age of the mutant.
I want to know availability for a specific day, how do I do it?
We have a different number of sessions depending on the day of the week. You can check availability for each day of the year and each hour through the reservations section of our website. You can select the days that are yellow in the calendar (which indicates that some sessions are available) and then select an hour from those available for that day.
How do I make a reservation?
Just go to the reservations section and follow the steps. In three clicks you can select day, time and number of participants. You must fill in the reservation form with your information and make the reservation payment (25% of the total cost). You will immediately receive a confirmation email with the reservation details.
Can I make a reservation by phone or by email?
Reservations for our activity must be made online through our reservations section. According to our experience, this is the best management system, since it allows us to know availabilities at all times and prevents reservations from overlapping.
We only take reservations by phone with less than 24 hours in advance. In this case, the payment of the reservation must be made in our facilities.
Is it mandatory to pay at the time of booking or can I pay in ypur premises the day that I am going to do the activity?
When booking, you must pay 25% of the amount. The rest will be paid in our facilities. A reservation can only be made without advance payment in case it is done by telephone less than 24 hours in advance.
If you are not sure how many mutants your team is going to have, you can make a reservation for the minimum number of participants (3). Once the activity is over we will recalculate the price and you will have to pay the difference in our facilities. It is very important that if the number of participants is subject to change you notify that to us in the comments section of the reservation form.
I have a gift voucher, what do I have to do?
You will see a button labeled “Redeem gift voucher” below the reservation calendar on our website. Just click it and follow the instructions. You must include the code that you can find in the confirmation email or the printed sheet of your gift voucher. Choose a date and a session that is available for the day you have selected. You will have to fill in the booking form with your information and enter your coupon in the corresponding slot. You will see how at that time the web recalculates the amount and if you have not chosen more people than those listed on the coupon, you will not have to pay anything.
Can I make a reservation without choosing a specific day? So that later the person who will receive the gift will choose it?
Of course, in fact we have the web enabled for it. You have to buy a gift voucher through our website.
Do gift vouchers expire?
Yes. They have an expiration date of 6 months, counting from the day the purchase is made.
How do I buy a gift voucher?
Go to the reservations section and check the “It’s a gift”. You will see that you must select the number of participants. If you are not sure how many mutants will accompany the person to whom you give the gift do not worry, they can change it by notifying our agents before coming and paying (or receiving) the difference. Still we ask you to please indicate in the comments field of the form that the number of participants is subject to change.
You will have to fill in the reservation form (we recommend that you input your data and not that of the person who will receive the gift). You will see that during the process you will not be able to choose the day and the time, these will be chosen by the person who receives the voucher. You will also see that you can print the gift voucher or let our system send it automatically by email on the date you choose to the person to whom you give it along with a personalized message.

THE DAY OF THE ACTIVITY
I have a reservation for X people but there will be more of us, what happens?
VERY IMPORTANT! Notify us by email or phone (or both) of any change in the number of team members.
Mutant X-Perience is an activity adjusted to the number of players and we have to prepare the facilities of the Mutant Control Agency in advance for the specific number and the mutant powers of your team.
Up to six mutants can be processed at once in our facilities and once there we will calculate the final price, depending on how many you are and you can pay the difference.
Do we have to arrive in advance? Do we have to bring any accreditation of the reservation?
Once the reservation is made through our website we receive a confirmation and you are automatically registered in our database. In this way, the day you come to do the activity, you will not need to bring anything, we will be aware of your reservation.
Also please arrive on time. Not sooner, not later. On time 😉
What happens if we are late?
Punctuality is very important. Keep in mind that we have scheduled several sessions a day and the delays seriously harm the organization and the correct development of the X-Perience for the groups that come after yours.
Action Room Escape allows you up to 10 minutes of courtesy. After 10 minutes, much to our regret, we will have to start the countdown and you will have less time to play the X-Perience. ATTENTION! If there is a delay of more than 30 minutes, Action Room Escape will be forced to cancel your session. In this case the downpayment of the reservation will not be refunded.
What happens if a player can't come?
VERY IMPORTANT! Notify us by email or phone (or both) of any change in the number of players of your team.
Mutant X-Perience is an activity adjusted to the number of players and we have to prepare the facilities of the Mutant Control Agency in advance for the specific number and the mutating powers of your team.
In any case, the reserves are not nominal. Surely you find another participant who can replace them. If that is not possible, keep in mind that you can play out the X-Perience with a minimum of 4 mutants.
VERY IMPORTANT: If at the end your team has less participants than those for which you had initially made the reservation and you have not notified it in advance, the difference will not be refunded.
Can I modify or cancel a reservation?
If something unexpected happens up to 72 hours before the day of the reservation (hey, that’s life!), we can modify your reservation. After that, things get more complicated.
Contact us as soon as possible using the form you will find in the contact section and, above all, indicate your reservation code and a phone so we can contact you .
You can make changes to your reservation up to 72 hours in advance. After that, no changes will be made to your reservation. Also, due to the nature of the activity no downpayment will be refunded after the 72 hours-in-advance period.
The booking system does not work for me, what can I do?
Do not panic. Frequently the failures in the web usually occur due to problems in the server, wait a few moments and try again later. Sometimes the problem can also be caused by an incompatibility with your device or your browser version, try making the reservation from another computer, cell or tablet.
I have another doubt that is not in this list, what I make?
